The Garmin Astro combo unit will help you keep track of your next hunt. The Garmin Astro package comes with the Astro 220 handheld unit and the DC 20 dog collar, these two pieces will work together to keep track of your hunting dog. The Astro 220 will not only communicate with the DC 10 to show your dogs position, but will use its own ultra sensitive 12 channel WAAS GPS receiver to show your position with accuracy down to 9 feet. The Astro 220 handheld unit is very similar to the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx with the added tracking capability. The Astro 220 has a VHF antenna that is removable so you can bring it along on your next outdoor adventure that does not include your dog.

In fact, the Astro handheld has all the features of Garmin’s top-line handheld outdoor devices, including a barometric altimeter, electronic compass, microSD™ card slot, celestial information, area calculator and rugged, IPX7 waterproof exterior. With optional detailed city street maps, you can search for over 6 million points of interest and create a route on roads with exact turn-by-turn directions.
