I think that this is perfect for recreational and professional purposes. The ATN IR450-B3 Super Long Range Infrared Illuminator is designed to brighten up night vision technology and it does! I found that it increases light for the scope, and at the infrared end of the spectrum too. It attached quickly and easily to my night vision device and really helps operate the scope in zero light.
